A Letter to My Fans: Are You Secure with being Different?
So... lately I've been in a rough spot... racking my brain trying to figure out...how am I going to do this... How am I gonna do that... and after a few talks and a bit of self motivation...i snapped out of it.
let's start from the top. What Is It That I Want? I want to be secure.... you should be too.
Although we all want to be secure financially...i think the most important thing is for us to be secure in ourselves. I had to take that journey and remember these things.
- you are very unique. there are very few people that have the set of talents you do...let alone half of that fraction even uses them.
- you are an inspiration to someone. someone is always watching...so if you give your 100% all of the time...
with that in mind... you should know about the next chapter.
i'll be working on giving you all a new song every week with the #WordPlayWithTJAY series
and i'm working on my follow up to #NothinLess the mixtape.
in the mean time... focus on being you.

Ja Rule (@RuleYork) is released from prison & Why it's important to me
A couple of years ago I had a very important event happen in my career. That event was when Sway (of MTV) and Ja Rule, two very important figures in Hip-Hop, gave me the thumbs up to keep doing what I do for the culture. here is the footage....
Well the reason it's important to me is not because I expect to get signed because of this video. It's important because I can finally build a relationship with the guy that gave me kudos on making good music. I don't need handouts...I don't need favors...I need valuable networks so I can build my own career to platinum selling records. That's why I do all of this.
